This poster was presented on April 17th, followed by a final write up submission in May.

The Grass is Greener When It's Not on Fire

This was a project worked on in the Foundations of Biology I course at the University of Minnesota. Our study was on the creation of a genetically modified version of Brachypodium Distachyon using Beta Casein to increase fire retardant tendencies. This was worked on from October 2017 through December 2017 alongside a group of eight other College of Biological Sciences students. This poster was voted Best Overall Poster out of a course of over 100 students by our peers.
